Hassan Adhami provides an insight into the type of work that Apis does through discussing the work that we undertook in partnership with the Clean Energy Regulator. This program is an excellent example of the variety and complexity of the problems we aim to solve and what keeps our people motivated and engaged:

Between 2012 and 2015 Apis provided design and delivery expertise to the Clean Energy Regulator on the design and implementation of the Carbon Pricing Mechanism and Emissions Reduction Fund. The Emissions Reduction Fund aims to provide incentives to individuals and organisations to reduce their emissions.

On the implementation of the Emissions reduction Fund, Apis delivered a Program Plan and Program Blueprint, including definition of future state business capabilities across people, process information and technology utilising a capability maturity model.

Apis successfully designed and led a delivery approach that was focussed on user centred business process design, the use of digital media and pilots to test product concepts, and the incremental build and user testing of online solutions. Our teams worked collaboratively through stand-ups, design workshops, build, user engagement and implementation of iterative product development cycles.

Through this work Apis was able to showcase its ability to deliver digital solutions in an agile way, while practically coming up with solutions to allow successful agile delivery to operate within good government governance and a traditional waterfall delivery environment. We did this working collaboratively with and leading a large multi-disciplinary team of delivery managers, analysts, developers, SME’s, policy advisors, legal advisors, communications officers, change managers and trainers.

Apis is proud to have been part of successfully delivering the Emissions Reduction Fund, supporting Government in reducing carbon emissions through incentives to businesses, households and landowners.
