Kids Tennis Day will kick start a massive day at the Apis Canberra International which also features the singles semifinals and doubles finals.

Kids Tennis Day will run from 9.00am-11.00am with the first 100 kids through the gates receiving a free ANZ Tennis Hot Shot racquet.  A host of activities will be on offer including ANZ Tennis Hot Shots, Fitbit Cardio Tennis, jumping castle, face painting, Enchanted Canberra’s Elsa and Spiderman, Reptiles Inc and Prime Possum.

Centre Court action will commence at 11.00am with South Australia’s Alex Bolt (SA) taking on second seed Taro Daniel (JPN).  The second men’s semifinal is an all-Australian affair with third seed Matthew Ebden (WA) taking on last year’s finalist Marc Polmans (VIC).

Canberra’s Alison Bai will then play one of the biggest matches of her career as she takes on fourth seed Destanee Aiava (VIC).  Sixth seed Olivia Rogowska (VIC) will take on Israel’s Julia Glusko in the other semifinal.

The men’s doubles final will see Bolt team up with Bradley Mousley (SA) to take on Luke Saville (SA) and Andrew Whittington (VIC).  In the women’s doubles, top seeds Arina Rodionova (AUS) and Asia Muhammad (USA) will play Jessica Moore (WA) and Ellen Perez (NSW).
