Major Announcements in Aged Care Reform

Apis has worked with the Department of Social Services (and formally Department of Health and Aging) since 2012 to design, develop and deliver significant changes to the aged care system (referred to as My Aged Care).

Apis shares the excitement of the Department in celebrating this success, and the introduction of these major reforms of benefit to all Australians. Our team has been deeply involved in all aspects of delivery, from business design and policy advice, transition planning, analytical modelling, complex procurement and contract management, and of course, running an integrated Programme Management Office. We congratulate our team on their contribution, long hours, commitment and dedication. We congratulate the Department of Social Services on  their vision and the spirit of cooperation shown in a blended team with Apis. This is truly an effective partnership between public and private sector.

Our role with the Department continues as we work to ensure effective take-up of the new capabilities and implement the next phase of aged care reforms
