National Academy Canberra trio Lisa Mays, Annerly Poulos and Kaitlin Staines will features in first round women’s qualifying action at the Apis Canberra International today.

National Academy Canberra trio Lisa Mays, Annerly Poulos and Kaitlin Staines will features in first round women’s qualifying action at the Apis Canberra International today.

 Mays will play the opening match on centre court against Kelsey Lewis (NSW), with Poulos to follow against Anne-Marie Medcalf (NSW).  Staines will play first up on court 5 against Queensland’s Tiana Windbulcher.

The final round of men’s qualifying will also take place, with 2015 Canberra International champion, Ben Mitchell (QLD) to take on former top 200 player Matthew Barton (NSW).

The Apis Canberra International 2017 is on at the Canberra Tennis Centre until November 5 2017. Entry is free with a gold coin donation requested on finals weekend
