    ABOUT

    Belinda is a high performing Consultant, Project Manager and Change champion. With over six and a half years’ experience working with the Australian Government, Belinda excels in developing productive and meaningful relationships with stakeholders to deliver project outcomes. Belinda’s career extends across a variety of Departments and Agencies including the Department of Education and Training, Department of Health, Department of Immigration and Border Protection and the National Disability Insurance Agency. Her experience is supported by a solid academic foundation, including a double degree in Business Administration and Arts, majoring in Psychology.

    Most recently, Belinda worked at the Department of Health, where she provided change management support for the Increasing Choice initiatives in Home Care. Belinda was integral in transitioning staff through significant system and process changes by planning and delivering system training, conducting user feedback sessions and developing user instructional manuals. In a short time period, Belinda was able to understand the complexities of the My Aged Care system and educate her stakeholders on its important features and capabilities.

    At the Department of Immigration and Border Protection Belinda was engaged for the redesign of the Status Resolution Program. Belinda provided project management services to ensure program work (particularly high-level project management monitoring of a series of inter-related subjects) was tracked and regularly reported to the Project Sponsor and departmental Executives. Key activities included development of a Delivery Management Plan, governance and risk management. She was also responsible for the provision of integrated program schedules, program/project controls and status reporting framework, as well as stakeholder planning, mapping and management.

    For over five years, Belinda worked at the Department of Education and Training where she established her foundation knowledge in project management. Belinda worked on an array of projects including the Higher Education Reforms, the MyUniversity and QILT websites, the Education Portal and the Higher Education Datamart. Belinda built solid and lasting relationships with her colleagues and advanced her expertise in agile implementation, user centred design, project coordination, stakeholder management, policy development and governance reporting.

    Belinda loves a challenge and works best in fast paced environments with complex stakeholder engagement. She can tailor effectively her project management, change and coordination expertise to her work environments and evolving client expectations.
