    ABOUT

    Mike is a partner and delivery leader in Apis. He brings particular skills and qualifications in the disciplines of program management, project management, business analysis and design, enterprise architecture and corporate strategy. His background includes international experience in the United Kingdom where he worked with large financial services organisations such as Barclays Bank PLC, and various UK Government Departments including the Home Office. He understands the business of government, coupled with the implementation of major reform initiatives with large system integration requirements.

    In Australia, Mike has been instrumental in establishing and running the Program Management Office for the $200M Aged Care Gateway Reforms for the Department to Health and Ageing and more recently the Department of Social Services. He subsequently led the design team responsible for all aspects of business design on that program, involving complex sector analysis, policy development, business rules development, end to end process design, and business requirements specification. In so doing, Mike has built for himself a reputation for excellence among senior executive within the Department.

    Mike’s delivery know-how is complemented by impressive qualifications, and advanced training across industry best practice methodologies including in business analysis, Prince2, MSP and ITIL. His strength lies in his ability to apply these methodologies on complex programs productively and effectively.

    Mike delivers and leads from the front. This is a proven outcome in his background. Clients consistently value his high output, high value add, and ability to drive programs of work through to completion. This is also reflected by his rapid advancement in Apis since he joined the business.
